The staff made our stay. Everyone was kind, friendly, and understanding, and even with our limited Portuguese we could laugh together and feel at ease. The setting is incredible too: there’s private access to a huge, nearly empty beach, and stepping out there felt like a dream. The views are stunning and the atmosphere is peaceful, with lots of private spots to relax to the sound of the waves. The pool could use some maintenance, and the standard rooms need a bit of attention. The electric showers and bathrooms felt a little worn. Getting to the rooms means a steep walk, which may not work for everyone, though with a car you can park by reception and drive up in about five seconds. It’s a short drive into town for bars and restaurants, where food and drinks cost less than on site. The hotel pizza and bar drinks are great if you’re happy to spend a bit more. For an affordable little slice of paradise, this is the place. Thanks to everyone there for giving us English visitors such a happy holiday.

The rooms could use renovation and some attention. Our bathroom had mold, and the furniture was quite old. Still, the beachfront setting is stunning, just a few minutes south of Ilhéus, with a pool and direct access to the beach. We had a mini bar in the room, which made it convenient to keep food and drinks. The restaurant’s chef is amazing and serves great dishes, some of the best in town.

The people are amazing, the service is wonderful, and the views are fantastic. Definitely a place to come back to.

The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were great. I loved it. The cats are very cute too 🐈🐈‍⬛.
