We loved our stay. The shared pool was wonderful, the place felt cozy, and all the kitchen utensils were clean and like new. The sheets and towels were clean and neatly arranged, too. We used both the barbecue and pool, and everything was great. A washing machine would have helped with a small child, but the drying rack was useful. I’d definitely come back!

It was very quiet, just right for the rest we wanted in the low season. The place has a kitchen, so you can settle in and relax, and there’s no nightlife nearby. We walked to the bridge to watch the sunset. There isn’t a permanent front desk, but the co-host Cida looked after us very well.

The listing was misleading. There was no breakfast, the place was far from the beach, and I’d booked a room with two beds, but it had only a double bed and a sofa. The room smelled of mold and urine, and the administrator was rude. I couldn’t stay there. There was no parking, so I had to find somewhere else to stay. I asked for a refund because I didn’t stay in those unhealthy, foul smelling conditions. To my surprise, the site refunded only the cleaning fee. This was my worst experience, and I’d never recommend the place.

I live in Florida, USA, and my mother and I spent nearly a week at Studios das Lagoas Boutiques in November 2019. I’ve stayed in plenty of places, and I wanted to write about Andrea and her studios because our days there felt magical. I found out firsthand why her studios are so well regarded in Ibiraquera. Andrea is clearly passionate about what she does. She puts love and attention into everything, from the decor and gardening to the spotless cleaning, and she personalizes the studios for each occasion. The breakfast was made with high quality food and kept us energized until 2 p.m. I’m careful about what I eat for my health, and when I eat the right foods I have energy without needing to snack every hour. Andrea’s thoughtful breakfast gave us that energy, lifted our mood, and helped us enjoy the city. Staying at Andrea’s Studio gave us everything we were looking for. She cares for nature, choosing each plant and fruit tree, and all those details help the place feel harmonious and well cared for. You hear birds singing and smell the flowers. Each studio is individually prepared for guests, which made us feel unique and special, and Andrea does that beautifully. Congratulations on all your dedication, and may you enjoy the rewards because you deserve them. If you ever come to Florida, I’d be happy to return all the care you gave us.
