Uiara Amazon Resort

Raquel Crispim de Lacerda really made our stay special. She planned and took part in our activities, and was always there to make sure things went well. Her enthusiasm showed every time we interacted, and we're very grateful. We stayed at Uiara Amazon Resort from September 22-25, 2025, and the whole team was welcoming from the moment we arrived. Reception was friendly and efficient, the restaurant staff served delicious meals with excellent service, and our room was excellent. The resort clearly cares about hospitality. We had a memorable Amazon trip and would happily recommend it. Thanks to everyone at Uiara Amazon Resort, we hope to return soon.

Visiting from London, UK, for our dream holiday in Brazil’s Amazon rainforest, we're staying here for two nights. Jhanyfer has made the trip feel special with her patience, knowledge, flexibility, and warm welcome. We've really enjoyed spending time with her, and I highly recommend her as a tour guide. Rachel was a very nice tour guide, and the only person I felt had my interests in mind. Ramon, my server, was a good guy and kept checking that I had what I needed. Some of the tours were pretty cool, and the place does give you a good feel for the Amazon jungle. The stay itself was near the bottom of the 40-plus luxury to borderline hotels I've stayed in this year across 21 countries, easily in my bottom three. The rooms were just okay, and the Wi-Fi was very spotty. My room flooded one day, and luckily I was there or it could have been a disaster. The water stopped working too, though I hope it's working again now. Housekeeping made the bed but left the dirty glasses, didn't bring fresh coffee pods, and didn't take the dirty towels. There wasn't a coffee machine until I asked, and the one they brought didn't work. There's no TV, which doesn't bother me. I booked a one-hour massage but got only 45 to 48 minutes. They offered a 10-minute chair massage in response, which I didn't want. I paid over $900.00 US dollars per night, and honestly, this hotel needs a management team. There are two Urias Whatsapp numbers, and one doesn't seem to know what the other is doing. You can probably find much cheaper hotels in Manaus with many of the same adventures. This place is accessible from anywhere only if you take a 30-minute boat ride, and that ride is rarely available.

Alana was such a kind, wonderful tour guide. When I missed a boat tour one day because of a miscommunication, they were gracious enough to find someone to take me on a solo trip so I wouldn't miss out. I had a great stay here. The resort and rooms are beautiful, and the food is pretty good.
