Beach Hotel Juquehy

The spot is ideal, beside a river and Juquehy beach, where the river meets the sea. At night you can hear the waves, which I found therapeutic and restful. We had a very good stay, and our room was spacious and comfortable, with a great shower for both temperature and pressure. The TV had only a few channels. The crew were great and always willing to help. Breakfast was good, and the COVID-19 precautions were strict enough that my wife and I, since we were keeping isolated and limiting contact beyond our immediate family, felt safe eating there. The restaurant was only average for us because the dishes cost too much for their quality. The waitresses, though, were all kind and quick. I think high prices are common around Juquehy. The pool was a little dirty on a few occasions, with sunscreen, hair, and sticks in it. My main concern was the cleaning crew's mask use. Several times they weren't wearing masks properly, and on some occasions they had no mask on at all. I stayed at Beach Hotel Juquehy for three nights and four days. I gave it four stars because it didn't seem fair to rate it alongside other amazing hotels I've stayed at.
