We stayed for seven days, my fiancé and I, and felt right at home. The price was affordable and the service excellent. Everyone was welcoming and thoughtful, from the owners to the attendants. Our room was always tidy, the bathroom always smelled fresh, and breakfast was plentiful. The place is so cozy it feels like paradise. We highly recommend it and hope to come back many times. The rooms are simple but perfectly adequate for sleeping, haha. Breakfast doesn’t have many choices, but what they serve is high quality, and some items are made to order. I strongly recommend this place. The location is excellent, close to the historic center and right by the sea. Everyone at the pousada is pleasant, caring, and helpful, which makes you feel at home. The owners, Helena and Simon, are often around and keen to make sure you have a good stay. They offer advice about the pousada and local area, and help look into the best outings for each person.
