Hotel Morubixaba

The hotel had the makings of a good stay, but several problems added up, and I wouldn't recommend it easily. We were on the third floor, where the ceiling is just PVC panels. The room got quite hot, and the panels kept making noise as they shifted with temperature changes. There was air conditioning, but it was impossible to use because it sounded like a Volkswagen Beetle running in the room, whether set to fan or cooling. The hotel says it has parking but doesn't mention that spaces are limited. My car couldn't use the lot at all. The bathroom also smelled constantly of urine. The toilet was already dirty when we arrived and was never cleaned during our stay. It was loose too, moving whenever anyone shifted on it. Next time, I'll try somewhere else.

The location is excellent, everything was extremely clean, and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was fine, though nothing special. My room was quite old and could use a renovation. The mattress felt a bit soft. For one night, though, it was fine.

I'd definitely recommend staying here while getting to know Iriri.
