PS Hotel Manilha

I travel for work making deliveries in a V.U.C, a cargo vehicle designed for urban use. The property has a large parking area where vehicles like that can be parked after 7 p.m.

Everything was simple, but the place was very clean and the staff were welcoming and polite. The room was spacious, and I thought the price was low considering how well they treated us.

I stayed overnight after going to a party, and the hotel worked perfectly for what I needed. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and it was easy to get to. My room was clean and roomy, with powerful air conditioning. Breakfast was basic, but everything was in order.

On both of my stays, the rooms were very clean, and I didn't see the cleaning problem mentioned in one negative review. The hotel is excellent and well organized, and breakfast had plenty of variety each time: different cakes, two kinds of bread, ham, cheese, margarine, melon, and papaya. There was coffee, coffee with milk, and Nescau. I don't remember seeing juice, but I had plenty to eat. It's right in the center of Manilha, with americanas next door on the left and a little bar on the right. Across the street there are more than two ice cream shops, a bakery, and a fruit and vegetable shop. The service was excellent too. I saw comments about there being no minibar, but I've stayed there twice and know you can get one for 30 reais extra. I was happy with that price. People expect to pay 130 or 140 reais and be at the Copacabana Palace. This hotel is excellent. I miss going to Manilha so I can stay there again.
