Felipe and Manu were fantastic hosts during our eight days at Mar Ilha Pousada, always ready to help. We loved the breakfast, with plenty of choices and everything sourced locally. They also put out coffee and fresh cakes each afternoon. The place is clean and comfortable, and it’s easy to walk from there to town and several beaches. A perfect base for exploring beautiful Itacare!

Felipe made the place feel so warm and homelike, and the staff were friendly from the start. My room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it for a cozy getaway.

They even have a hot water heater! That's my last little observation. More than anything, Felipe and Manu are wonderful people who really look after their guests. The full kitchen staff serve a delicious, nutritious breakfast, and there are freshly baked cakes and coffee in the late afternoon too. Easily the best bed and breakfast experience I've had in Itacaré, or anywhere else.

Felipe and the team made us feel so welcome, and everyone went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. They shared useful tips over a varied, delicious breakfast each day. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with fresh towels and great hot showers. Mar Ilha Pousada is a fantastic place to stay in beautiful Itacaré. I'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting this lovely part of Brazil, and hope we can return someday!
