The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owner made us feel like friends. When he was around, he shared tips on places to visit and joined us for a wonderful breakfast on the veranda overlooking the square. The pousada is right across from the square that leads to the city's liveliest street. It's also above a restaurant serving delicious food from Minas Gerais. We had a great stay, and it was worth every cent.

The owner was very kind and attentive, and the facilities were modest but clean. My room's air conditioning wasn't cooling very well, and the mattress wasn't the best either. Breakfast didn't offer a huge selection, but there was enough.

The location is very good, and breakfast was good for the price, with eggs made to order. The owners were welcoming and helpful, though the accommodation could use some repairs. The bathroom was flooding, and there was a musty smell.
