I really liked the restaurant, and the laundry service was top notch. The pool was lovely, though chlorine tablets had been tossed in rather randomly. The staff were great and everything was very clean. It’s a beautiful, resort-style place, and exploring the building was fun since so much of it is antique. All in all, a good experience.

The food was good and the shower was hot, but most of the rest of the hotel felt old and worn out. The rooms, shared spaces, and restaurant all seem like they might have been good 20 years ago. Maybe COVID had a big impact here, as it did elsewhere on the island. Pool towels cost extra, so bring your own. I wouldn’t come back.

If you enjoy history and the beach, the location is lovely. There’s a pool, tennis court, and dining area, and security seemed good enough that I felt fine leaving my car there. The main issue was the windows, which don’t seal properly, so the mosquitoes were a nightmare. The beds were also kind of hard.

The food was excellent, and the staff were nice. The rooms were clean and in good condition, and the pool water was clean too. It’s a good-looking area overall.

The place has a great setup, buffet, and amenities, but I’m giving it four stars because of a few things. WiFi signal was poor in a lot of areas, and the buffet wasn’t refilled when the lasagna ran out, even though it was delicious. Also, the mattress I slept on had a spring that made the whole bed shake. That last part may just come down to personal taste.
