The price isn't among the best. The owner keeps a close eye on breakfast. On both occasions I ate there, the bread was warmed in the oven and brought out to the table little by little, and cake slices were counted. Sometimes, even after we'd showered, she seemed to insist we use hand sanitizer.

The welcome at Pousada Belo Horizonte in Macaé was great from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless and really comfortable, and breakfast was simply top notch, better than at many five-star hotels I've stayed in. The staff make a real difference with their thoughtful, personal service and attention to detail. Congratulations to the whole team, keep up the great work. You are top!

I wasn't happy with the place. It felt very simple, and the service was terrible. I'd seen great reviews and was mistaken. The owner's manner seemed inflexible, and I felt she wanted to dictate what I was doing. When you travel, you need somewhere you feel comfortable, and unfortunately I didn't have a good experience on this trip. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

My wife and I loved our stay. It's cozy and clean, with that feeling of being at home, and the breakfast had a lovely countryside taste that was the best part. The price was accessible and we were treated well, so it deserves the praise. We'll definitely come back. Congratulations.
