Bella Marina

The inn was really well organized and very close to the beach. It’s a lovely spot for a family outing, and I really enjoyed my stay. The service was excellent, and I have no complaints.

The owner is an attentive older man and tries to help where he can, though he seems lonely. The place is very close to the beach, so it could work if you just want to spend the day there and come back to sleep. But during my stay, I didn’t see anyone clean the pool, and it had a decent amount of water in it. The simple breakfast was sliced bread and cold coffee, with ants in the sugar jar. One bedroom smelled unbearably musty. Cleaning overall left a lot to be desired, and there were cockroaches around. The ceiling fan and floor fan were both noisy. The place is up for sale, too.

The listing didn’t match the place at all. The parking was open and out on the street, so there was no protection or guarantee for the car. The pool water was cloudy, and the kitchen was dirty and chaotic, with no cupboards and a pile of things shoved in a corner. The electrical wiring looked unsafe, with wires exposed and hanging down. The bathroom was dirty, the door had no latch, and the fan had no safety grille. The bed had been patched up, and the mattress smelled moldy. Tools were scattered around the inn, creating a serious accident risk for children. Service was poor. Just terrible.

At R$190,00 a night, this was absurdly expensive for what it offered. The place was dirty and disorganized, the kitchen was filthy, and the rooms were hot with no comfort. Breakfast was a joke, just stale bread and boxed milk served without being boiled, along with coffee. If you wanted coffee, you had to wash the dishes left by the previous guest. Wires were exposed and the electrical system was in bad shape. The guests are being treated with total disregard. It wasn’t worth the price at all.
