Hostel Itanhaém

I loved staying at the hostel. It was clean, cozy, and a great place to be. Seu Carlos was such a lovely host, easy to talk to, and very polite. I felt completely comfortable, almost like I was at home. I’ll definitely come back.

The room’s soap was already used and full of hair, and both the pillows and bedding smelled awful. The whole house reeked of cigarettes because the owner smoked inside constantly. He greeted us with a lit cigarette, then came into the room where my wife and son were going to sleep while still smoking, with no consideration for them. The TV was blaring for part of the night, then a woman came in around the middle of the night banging into things and making noise while they argued. I stayed awake all night and deeply regretted the stay. I’ll never even go near the gate again.

The house is in a good location. We walked to a great nearby bakery and to the beach early in the morning, then came back on foot quite late without any trouble. It’s in a safe neighborhood, near a commercial avenue. The kitchen had everything needed to make meals, and the TV worked well. The house is well ventilated, and Sr. Carlos was always there if we needed anything. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bedding and pillows were new and smelled fresh, so my dust allergy and rhinitis didn’t give me any trouble. He welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. We’re looking forward to going back.

Sr Carlos, the owner, was so kind and made my family and me feel completely at home. He gives you plenty of space to feel comfortable. We loved our stay, especially the great location, affordable price, and lovely service. We’ll definitely return. We already think of it as our second home.
