It’s a simple hotel, but really nice compared with others in the area. You can choose from three room types: one with a ceiling fan, one with air conditioning and a pool view, and a top room with air conditioning and a sea view. The location is one of the best in Itaparica, right by the sea. Breakfast is optional, and it’s very good.

The location is great, and the breakfast staff were the one clear bright spot. They were kind and very attentive. The breakfast itself could have been better, though it was still reasonable given the other problems. The building is fantastic but seems neglected. The rooms have a lot of flaws in the finishes, and the furniture is poorly maintained and lacking in taste. The staff need much more training. It would take a major renovation, but I think the investment would be worthwhile.
