Blue Sea Hotel

The food and service were a big letdown. We found the choices for food and drinks limited, and there was only one fish dish despite being right by the beach. It tasted like frozen chips. I ordered risotto with mignos, but the meat was burned and they used the wrong rice. The waitress suggested adding bacon, then came back to say they didn’t actually have bacon as an extra. Prices suggest a much fancier meal than what we got. They also add an undisclosed charge for everything, even small requests. The hotel itself is comfortable, with different rooms and areas to relax in, and the view of the beach is lovely. You can stay right at the “beira do mar”. A pretty place, but the service is very poor.

Pretty low class. They don’t even have an iron or ironing board if you need to press a shirt for a suit.

Emerson was especially helpful, attentive, and professional during my stay. The restaurant also stood out for its atmosphere, good food, and quality service. The hotel is brand new, luxurious, and very clean. My room was comfortable and spacious, with a beautiful view, and I liked relaxing by the pool and deck. I had an excellent experience and highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

The team were polite, respectful, and very helpful, and all the hotel spaces felt beautiful and cozy. I loved my stay and definitely want to come back. My room was clean, had an incredible view, and came with everything I needed. Breakfast had lots of choices, including food for people avoiding gluten and milk protein like me, though there is cross-contamination. Dinner at the restaurant was wonderful too. They adapted a dish for me, and the drinks were distinctive and the food really tasty.
