Pousada Bem Viver 1

The location is excellent, the room was clean, and the welcome was great. Everyone I dealt with gave excellent service. Since it’s a converted house, though, there isn’t much privacy from noise. It’s suited to a short stay: a shower, simple breakfast, and a restful night’s sleep. No luxury, but everything is done well.

Everything was clean and well organized, and all the staff were really nice and attentive. Excellent value for money. I recommend it!

Marlene and Léo are very kind and great to chat with, and the service was impeccable. I loved the plants, which give the place a grandmother’s-house feel. It was extremely clean, and the towels and bed linen smelled lovely. The inn does need a good renovation, though. There were mold stains on the ceiling, the minibar was switched off and looked bad, and the air conditioner was noisy. Breakfast was mediocre, and the advertised afternoon coffee was just a pot of coffee and toast.

The staff are polite, but cleanliness was terrible. There was a bottle in my room that I hadn’t used, the room was full of mold, things were broken and dusty, and the blankets didn’t smell freshly washed. I don’t mind simple things, I even like them, but they need to be clean and functional. The sandwich maker was broken, the water dispenser was missing a part, and the things weren’t well cared for.
