Cabanas Do Visconde

Awesome.

The inn is older and needs repairs and modernization, but nothing that would ruin your trip. The outdoor area was very nice, the rooms were clean, and breakfast had lots of delicious choices. It's well located, a short distance from the shops, bars, and restaurants. Rafaela was impeccable in her service, politeness, and care when handling guests' requests.

We spent seven unforgettable days here, from 03/01/2025 to 10/01/2025. I went with my husband and our pet daughters, and we loved being surrounded by nature while still close to town, with its bars, good restaurants, shops, and handicrafts. The inn was comfortable, and we enjoyed the whirlpool, sauna, and pool. The breakfast was appealing, with tasty cheeses, homemade jams and cakes, and plenty of fruit, which I always need with breakfast. I also have to mention the huge pão de queijo made by the owner, Leonis. It was delicious, made with buffalo parmesan, and the taste was a lovely way to say goodbye. Until next time! The Alto da Serra setting is enchanting, with unique nature and waterfalls to visit. We enjoyed all our outings, especially the trail to Cachoeira do Alto do Cantilado with its nine falls. It was simply beautiful.

Dona Leonis welcomed us so warmly when my husband and I visited on 04/10/24. She was polite, friendly, and hospitable. We were the only guests, and she made a special breakfast for us. She also lent us umbrellas for our outings, shared tips about local places to visit, and was always available. I loved the fireplace and would definitely return another time.
