We felt at home and would definitely come back. The location is excellent, the breakfast was good and honest, and swimming in the late afternoon was a nice touch. We also loved bringing our dog and having space where dogs, kids, and the whole family could play.

We paid 320 reais a night for three nights in the “romantic suite” with a fireplace, and it was very poor value. When I asked the owner directly, she offered firewood and a bottle of wine. The wine never came, and the excuse she gave was unconvincing. The promised wood amounted to five logs and wasn't replenished on the other nights. Worse, the chimney didn't draw any smoke out of the room, so it filled with smoke. We couldn't keep the fire lit for even ten minutes, and our clothes and bedding smelled smoky throughout the stay. There was no room service either: no cleaning, tidying, trash removal, or changing the wet towels, which wouldn't dry in winter. Breakfast was basic. Just one employee prepared and replenished the food, and several times items ran out and took a while to come back. They even told us that because the inn was full, we had to choose a breakfast slot, either 8 to 9 or 9 to 10. I've never encountered that anywhere. We saw only two employees over those three days, the woman handling breakfast and the man at reception. Given all this, I can't recommend the place.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty and filling, even if the selection wasn't huge. The inn is simple, pleasant, and surrounded by greenery. I loved waking up to the birds singing. There's free parking, and both the room, which had a fireplace, and the bathroom were a good size. Everything was very clean, and the sheets were bright white and smelled fresh.

We arrived to find two dead cockroaches in the room, and there was no soap in the bathroom. If you don't bring your own, you're showering with water only. The owner should understand that when guests book and pay for a stay, they are paying for these services too, along with at least a decent welcome, especially since the inn isn't among the cheapest. Breakfast was awful. The owner stopped us from going down, saying she hadn't prepared for everyone to arrive then and needed to refill the table, and she spoke very arrogantly. We had to wait for her to let us eat. They also controlled how many scrambled eggs we could have, and replenishment was slow. When food did come out, it was only enough for each person to eat once. Asking for more seemed to make the owner act as if she were doing us a favor, and she was extremely rude. It was the first and last time for us, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. My husband and I didn't pay attention to the reviews and decided to try it ourselves. I do recommend looking for better reviews.
