The house is fully furnished and has all the utensils you need, plus it’s in an excellent location. It’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy art and culture from different areas all in one spot. I especially want to mention the woman who greeted us and handed over the keys. She was so helpful and did a great job. I’m just sorry I forgot her name!

The pool was small and dirty, and the coded gate lock was a real headache. Arriving at night in the dark after a couple of beers, I could easily imagine someone being unable to unlock it and having to sleep outside. The access is awful too, with a pothole-filled road and a very narrow, filthy bridge that gives a terrible first impression. None of that is disclosed, and it made me want to turn around. I don’t recommend the place and won’t return.

It might be okay for one night, but the 200 reais I paid for a regular weekend, not a holiday, felt expensive. The place is really just about four rooms with a kitchen, all put together with the cheapest materials. The synthetic bedsheets were very thin, one bed’s set was badly stained, and one towel was in tatters. There wasn’t a decent knife in the kitchen, and the roof looked like it might fall on our heads, with a hole in the plastic ceiling. I don’t recommend it.

My wife and I left and found somewhere else, even though we’d already paid, so we lost our money. The room smelled of mold and the pool was very dirty. The place seemed abandoned, with nobody there to receive us, and the photos don’t show what it’s really like. It felt very strange that the key was left in the gate’s padlock while the chalet stood open. We were completely uncomfortable. I definitely can’t recommend it.
