Don’t miss the entrance off BR-151: the pousada sits down a short dirt track to the northeast, and I drove past it, then had to go about 10 km to make the retorno and try again. Once there, my family room was comfortable, with a decent bathroom and a shower with strong flow. The owner, Andre-Je, is friendly and speaks good English, and the staff are helpful and very nice. The breakfast room looks out over the forest and river. It’s a modern pousada with its own distinctive design in a lovely rural setting.

We’d definitely come back, and would recommend it. The setting is lovely, with striking scenery, and it’s a welcoming place to relax and be close to nature. Our accommodation was excellent, and breakfast was amazing. Everyone was attentive and polite, especially Jeandre, the owner, and Priscila.
