The grounds are attractive and pleasant, with a truly lovely view that made a good first impression. But the stay fell short in several ways. The pool water was so dirty and cloudy that nobody wanted to use it the next day. The room itself was simple, which was fine, but the bathroom was in poor shape. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and a black spider in a corner, which made me uncomfortable. The shower was also in terrible condition, with clogged holes and very weak flow. The water came out extremely hot, so I couldn’t get a warm shower. The garden looked nice, but cat and dog droppings were scattered around. You had to watch the ground to avoid stepping in them. We also lost power when we went to bed. I understand outages happen, but no one from the inn came to explain whether it was a citywide issue or offer an alternative, like a fan. It made for a very uncomfortable, hot night. At checkout, there was nobody at reception. We only found a housekeeper tidying a room, and she told us to leave the key on the counter. The place has potential, but it needs renovations, better cleaning and maintenance, and more attentive staff presence for guests.

The view of Dunas de Marapé is postcard-worthy, and the inn connects guests with nature tours, restaurants, and places to get snacks for dinner. Do take a tour! It’s a great place to get away from the city bustle, switch off your phone, TV, and computer, and be surrounded by nature. One tip about dinner: getting food from the Shell gas station saved me. Otherwise, you’d have to go to Pontal do Coruripe, 20 km from the inn.

The location is incredible, with a fantastic lookout, and the staff are very friendly. I also liked how at ease they made us feel. The place needs more care and maintenance, though. Breakfast is basic, with nothing served in a warming tray, and the rooms are simple too. The bathroom mirror hadn’t been cleaned and still had toothpaste splashes from previous guests. There’s no shower enclosure, the shower is very weak, and the TV doesn’t work properly because the picture is all blue. Since the inn is pet-friendly, there should be some limits. The inn’s own animals climb on the reception sofa and drool on it, and they wander through dining areas. There are several droppings on the grassy area, which create a strong smell. There are cats too, and they kept climbing on the car and leaving paw marks.

The view from the inn is amazing and the place feels peaceful. Still, the room wasn’t clean enough. The bathroom ceiling was dirty, and at night there was a cockroach in there that seemed to live there. It stayed on top of the mirror and hid behind it whenever I tried to kill it, then wouldn’t come out again. There were termites in the corner by the door, and that part was crumbling with a clump of debris in the corner. There were lots of ants around, and some areas looked kind of abandoned. A few improvements could make the place perfect.

It’s a simple, quiet place with a pool and a beautiful sea view. The staff were all helpful and friendly, and gave us good tips on tours and places to eat when we needed them. Breakfast was within the acceptable range for this kind of inn.
