The location, upkeep, and cleanliness were impeccable. Since there’s no room service, I wish the suite had a few basics: a trash can, broom and dustpan, floor cloth, cleaning cloth, disinfectant, and surface cleaner like Veja. Then guests could keep the room tidy instead of having to live with sand on the floor.

Dona Lourdes was very friendly. The simple accommodation was clean and had everything we needed to sleep at night or rest in the afternoon. There was a TV with cable channels, and a combined unit with a sink, stove, fridge, and cupboard, so we could make breakfast and heat something up at night. It’s a block from a beach and close enough to walk to central Ubatuba, in a residential area with no violence or anything resembling a favela nearby. That beach isn’t amazing, but Ubatuba has dozens of nearby beaches for all tastes, so you can choose. The pousada parking holds six cars, but they’re parked in a way that can block each other. The last cars in need to leave their keys with D. Lourdes so she can move them when someone in front wants to leave. I left her my keys and had no trouble. The trip was really good.

Terrible in every way! I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We were given great recommendations for restaurants and beautiful beaches. The place is airy, and the price is well worth it. The reception was wonderful.
