Casa Bougainvilla

There's a bakery of sorts right next door, with tapiocas, cakes, juices, breads and refreshing coconut water. The house itself is pleasant, quiet and comfortable, set away from the center. It has two apartments, one upstairs and one downstairs. There are four beds, one double and three singles, including two in a bunk bed, with plenty of room for about five people. The bathroom and kitchen are both spacious.

Simple, rustic and cozy, but very well cared for. The location makes it easy to enjoy Jericoacoara's lively nights, while the place itself is quiet and pleasant. The furniture and appliances were in good condition and all worked well. We'll definitely stay there again when we return to Jericoacoara.

We arrived exhausted, having already paid, and were left out on the street because no one had sent instructions that we needed to find the owners to get into the house. The owners are apparently known for leaving guests waiting outside for hours. Now they won't refund our money. Terrible service. We'll fight to get it back.

The location is excellent, but arriving was a miserable experience. After a five-hour drive, nobody greeted me, and I couldn't even find the house. For the price, the apartment really should have a microwave and a coffee maker.
