The location is nice, right across from the beach, but the place isn’t worth the price. The pool water was dirty and the bathroom smelled bad. On our first night we had to ask for the sheets to be changed because they were dirty and sandy. The breakfast eggs didn’t look edible either. They had plenty of availability, but wouldn’t let us check out late unless we paid for half a day, just to use the room for a few hours. In all my past stays in Brazil, even at basic pousadas, people have been friendly and welcoming. We definitely didn’t feel that here.

The hotel is in a great spot, near the beach and with bars easy to get to. But the hygiene needs work: the breakfast plates were dirty, and the bathroom smelled really bad.

The staff were great, and the bathroom had been updated and was really nice. The room worked well for what I needed, which was a place to sleep. You can walk straight onto the beach from the hotel, or head out the front into town and find a great restaurant. The ocean is just steps away, so you probably won’t spend much time in the room. There’s a hammock you can set up on the porch or inside, which I highly recommend.

The rooms feel a little old, but the hospitality was spectacular. Oélito gave us a warm welcome in Portuguese and English and helped us check whether there was a laundromat nearby. We didn’t need one yet, but he called around to get information. The location is great too, right by Rua Principal, the village plaza, and the beachfront.

The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are just right for sleeping, since you won’t spend much time inside anyway. The town is freaking beautiful!
