Unkua Pousada Flats

My wife and I had a wonderful stay and not a single complaint. The breakfast was a 10, the rooms were clean, and the bathroom worked just fine. The pool is a good size for a pousada this size. The little cats that visit are an extra attraction, haha. I definitely recommend it!

The service was great, and my family and I really enjoyed our stay. The rooms, bathroom, kitchen, and veranda were all lovely. It's a little distance from the beach, but that wasn't a problem. I'd recommend it.

It feels peaceful and quiet here, almost like a refuge from busy central Jeri, but the restaurants on sao francisco and the main square are just a five-minute walk or less away. The hotel team is very attentive. Paula at reception is so kind, polite, and helpful! Breakfast was really tasty and nicely prepared, with fresh fruit, cakes, savory items, bread, tapioca, eggs, and other things the kitchen staff made to order. Our room was always clean, with good quality towels and bedding, effective air conditioning, a large TV, and a good shower. Everything in the room seemed fairly new, or maybe just very well cared for. The Wi-Fi was good too. The pousada has a calm feel, great for getting proper rest after outings. The pool is nice and there's a shower.

Our stay at Pousada Unkué was disappointing. The team showed little interest in fixing basic problems. The shower kept switching between very hot and very cold water, and they offered no solution. The poorly adjusted faucet sprayed water onto the sink and mirror. Housekeeping was careless: they didn't change the towels, clean the floor, or replace the toilet paper, which we had to ask for at reception. Our room was at the back of the pousada, in an area that looked neglected. Breakfast had enough options, but it was served in a small room with too few tables, so people had to wait and struggled to move around. Food ran out quickly, which meant getting there early. Staff asking things like “finished already?” made us uncomfortable, and the kitchen team was not very friendly. The pousada also got our return transfer date wrong and changed the time we'd agreed on, causing hassle and stress. It has potential, but poor management and lack of attention to details seriously affected the experience.
