Pousada Carioca

The place felt cozy and was really clean. The owner was around and easy to talk to whenever we needed something, and the staff were professional and very helpful. I had a great stay, definitely recommend it.

The breakfast setting is really pleasant, and everything is made fresh to order. The staff there are lovely, and Geisa is so warm and charismatic that it feels like you've known her for years. The little pool is a nice place to relax, and with only a few rooms I doubt it gets crowded. The linens and towels are good quality, and the Wi-Fi works. Even my Vivo 5G signal was perfect. The pousada is in a great spot and has everything you need in jeri, with caring, attentive service. The rooms have air conditioning, though I hardly needed it because the place stays cool. I'd happily come back.

We spent plenty of time lounging in the hammock area, and the pool was handy for a quick dip after the beach. We barely used it, though, with such a lovely sea just a few meters away. The room was spacious, with a big, comfortable double bed that would suit a couple or friends. It's a short walk from the busy area, but far enough from the nighttime music to sleep well. Rosa makes a wonderful breakfast, with tapioca or crepes cooked to order. I came home craving the coconut with condensed milk one, and the banana with dulce de leche. The juices are made fresh that day from fruit picked at the pousada. We'd stay again and recommend it to friends.
