We made friends with people from several countries during our 20 days in Jeri, and the staff were always helpful and proactive. They were well trained, especially João Vitor, Eduardo, Lucas, Damião, Luana, Robert, Andressa, and Conceição. Sorry if I’ve forgotten anyone’s name. Thank you all! I also want to thank Wuill, the manager at Vila Tapi and Hurricane. She’s an incredibly efficient, effective, and thoughtful professional, a high performing leader without any arrogance. She realized that after 20 days, we, a middle aged couple from SP (haha), might get tired of only using the Vila Tapi pool, so she arranged day use at Hurricane too. To the owners: please do more to care for and preserve Jericoacoara.

In the afternoons, some adorable donkeys would show up to eat grass. The rooms were extraordinary, hard to even describe, and breakfast was delicious and made with so much care. Jean, Andressa, and everyone else gave us impeccable service from start to finish. It was the best honeymoon experience I could have had, truly something special. I recommend it to anyone who gets the chance.

The food was a highlight for us. Every meal felt special, with fresh, high quality ingredients and memorable flavors. The drinks menu was great too, with good cocktail and wine options to go with the meals. Our room at Villa Mandi was spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely clean, and the comfortable bed made for restful nights after days out. The staff were attentive, helpful, and always smiling, with personal service that made a real difference. The hotel is charming, and its design fits the paradise like setting of Jericoacoara so well. We highly recommend staying here and will certainly be back soon.
