Awesome.

We stayed in apartment 303, and I’m completely unhappy with the place. It was filthy and seemed abandoned, with loose wires, dirty walls and curtains, and a filthy mattress. The kitchen sink siphon was broken, the bathroom walls were covered in grime, and the old fridge had a broken door. The kitchen utensils were old, dirty, or broken, and the sandwich maker was disgusting. The bedsheets were torn, and the towels and bath mats were stained and dingy. Nothing was in decent shape. When I raised all this with João and Junior, who were responsible, they did nothing to ease the problems in the apartment they rented us. They have no business managing a place like that. We paid a lot to stay there, it wasn’t free or a favor, and it was horrible.

The owner said they wouldn’t do anything about the smell, and the apartment was covered in cockroaches. There were roaches in the fridge, on the walls, and even on the bed. Apartment 107 was horribly dirty. The rooftop pool is really beautiful, but it doesn’t make up for how awful the apartment was.

It’s easy to get around from here, with the sign, a pharmacy, restaurants, and bars nearby. The place was clean and organized, and staff were available. I’ll come back.
