I loved staying with this lovely family in their cozy, friendly home. Breakfast was nice, and the host also arranges excursions to Chapada Diamantina.

The host shares really useful tips about hidden routes and clearly cares about the guests’ well-being. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and the location in the center of Lençóis made it easy to reach Chapada Diamantina’s attractions. We were welcomed like family, and the breakfast was spectacular: breads, delicious homemade cakes, especially pineapple and corn, juices, regional fruit, and excellent Bahian coffee. O Oto, criança da casa, won our hearts with his charm and contagious joy. This was more than a place to stay, it was a taste of Bahian hospitality that left lasting memories. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, transformative experience in Chapada Diamantina. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to return before you’ve even left!

After five days in Vale do Pati, staying at Casa da Elis was just right. It’s a peaceful, welcoming place where I could hold on to the calm I’d found during the crossing, rest without rushing, enjoy the little details, and get to know the city better. A family-run pousada with good value, very close to the city center. We were warmly welcomed by Ban and her family. Breakfast had lots of variety, and the place was quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend staying here, and want to thank Ban for her hospitality, friendliness, and flexibility.
