Transamerica Fit Lucas do Rio Verde

A really poor experience. I’d paid in advance, but when I arrived they couldn’t find my reservation and even suggested I might have been scammed. It took more than 30 minutes to sort out. Twice, I had to go back to reception because my door card wouldn’t open the door. They told me the card had an expiry, even though I still had two days left in my stay. On top of that, the room wasn’t cleaned, and there was something on the bathroom grout that looked like dirt. It’s a shame, because the hotel has everything it needs to be very good.

The apartments are excellent, the breakfast was wonderful, and there’s plenty of parking. Service was very good too.

I was charged almost 200 reais for two meals. They were simple meals, so I thought that was outrageous.

At 8 pm I went to eat, but there was no meat, chicken, or fries left. They said the food had run out because of the weekend traffic. I’d also asked for still water and was sent sparkling water instead. The service felt very unprepared. Before I’d even arrived, the hotel had already charged the full amount. I’m used to being charged at the end, as happens at the other hotels where I stay. When I checked out, they told me my company had asked them to bill only the accommodation, and that I had to pay the extras separately. That wasn’t true. The voucher I received clearly says expenses and extras are included, as at all hotels. I sent an image through Instagram. Is this really the impression a hotel wants to leave with its guests?
