Breakfast is the only good thing. The rooms barely have any usable outlets, and the hotel has no view of either the city or the beach. You open the window and face a wall. The Wi-Fi is unreliable, and there aren’t enough secure parking spaces for guests.

Everything else was perfect, with a wonderful breakfast and a great location. My stay was lovely, the staff were very polite, and the atmosphere felt pleasant and family friendly. One suggestion: it would be nice to have paid TV channels.

The noise made it hard to rest, and I found the rate expensive for that lack of sound insulation. On 10/08/2022, it was $250 per night. Given the noise and the hotel’s lack of intervention, a fair price would be around 140-160 reais. I hope they improve, because the place has everything it needs to succeed. The rooms don’t block sound well, and some guests turn their TVs up to unbearable levels late at night and early in the morning. Behind the hotel there’s a Crossfit gym, and at 6 a.m. the banging from workouts and weights hitting the floor is disturbing enough to make the wall shake. Gaia Suítes should cap TV volume at level 6 and set rules against excessive noise. There are only three parking spaces out front on the hotel sidewalk. There is wheelchair and mobility access, and the location is good, just a few meters from Cavaleiros beach. Breakfast was excellent, with fruit, bread, cakes, juice, and coffee. The cleaning was good, though the shower stall needs attention, as the floor and walls had grime.
