The location worked well, close enough to the center. The room could use some renovation, though. Reception was helpful and the man there spoke English, but service in the restaurant was really poor and the food was below average. We waited 45 minutes for our order, then left. The pool also wasn't clean, and the lifeguard was asleep while on duty.

In 2024 I had an even worse stay than the year before. A few hours after checking in, the water stopped working in my room that evening. The night staff couldn't say when it would be fixed and offered another room for a shower. Since I was there for just one night and had to get to work early, I took the offer. Other guests had used that room too, and nobody seemed to clean it between showers. The floor was wet and dirty. At least no one had used the toilet. It felt like staying in a low-grade hostel. My 2023 visit was disappointing as well. The toilet wouldn't flush properly, the shower needed cleaning, and there were only hand towels in the room when I arrived. Breakfast could have been better. The night staff was diligent and offered to move me because of the toilet, but I was already settled and stayed put. In the morning, the staff wouldn't start my checkout while I was eating breakfast.

The neighborhood is pleasant, though there isn't much to see on foot. The hotel is a long way from just about everything, including the airport. The Jacarepegua location is good, and the rooms are okay. Internet speed was decent too.

The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were thoroughly cleaned, and the employees were so kind. I love this hotel, and it also has great parking. I'd recommend it!

The breakfast could be better, but the restaurant waitress was wonderful and very polite. Very good.
