We didn’t have a good stay, and after all the problems we decided to leave before the package ended. Whenever I raised an issue, the administrator had an “excuse.” We booked the rooms for Carnaval through WhatsApp, but nobody had told us in advance that the chalets had no internet and the TV only got regular channels. Around 23:30 on the day we arrived, a staff member called to ask what time I’d be getting there, even though I was already in the chalet. We had booked for a couple and one child, but there were only two towels in the room, and we had to ask for toilet paper. It was cold, so we requested blankets, but they only had comforters. Some smelled bad, were dirty, and had no plastic covers. The next morning, the water went out early. At first the administrator kept insisting it had returned to normal, then later acknowledged the shortage and said they’d identified the problem. There’s still a lot that needs improving.

The hosts, sr. Luis and Cleo, were wonderful and made us feel as if we were visiting a relative or someone close to the family. The whole team was warm and friendly too. It’s a beautiful, very new farm with lots of open space and a chance to get away from it all. There’s horseback riding and a fish pond, and it’s a lovely place to spend time outdoors. It’s also a great choice for photography. I took a few pictures and have more on my profile, @flashthemoment. We definitely recommend it and will come back.

The horses were gorgeous and healthy, and the pousada has a fantastic setup for enjoying time with the animals. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was divine, and the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. A big hug to everyone, and see you soon!

There are rooms as well as private chalets, plus a pool and a haras where you can go horseback riding. We were welcomed warmly and helped with everything we needed. A great place to stay, and worth checking out.

The chalets were comfortable, nicely decorated, and set in a pleasant spot. Getting there was difficult, though: the access road is poorly marked, and the dirt road felt dangerous, especially during the rainy season. The food was average, with only a few dishes to choose from.
