The massages were one of the best parts of our stay, and check-in and check-out were smooth and professional. The private villas each have their own style, giving you a secluded, peaceful space. The grounds are lovely and clean, the animals seem well cared for, and the whole place feels relaxing. Food became a real limitation when the buffet wasn't available. Given the high prices and the drive of over an hour to get there, the few menu choices felt especially restrictive, even with much of the produce grown on site. More options, a complimentary meal, or some other compensation when services aren't available would help. The pools also needed better upkeep to match the property's standards and price. Some villa exteriors could fit the forest better in more natural, earthy colors. It's a beautiful quiet retreat with excellent spa services, but the food, pool maintenance, and value need attention. We appreciated a lot about our visit, though it didn't leave us eager to return.

Waking to birdsong and walking the trails near Swan Lake were highlights of the 300,000-square-meter grounds, with lavender fields, gardens, and wildlife sanctuaries all around. The villas, designed by architect Ruy Ohtake, pair modern style with fireplaces and Acqua di Parma toiletries. The gardens were immaculate, and there were both indoor and outdoor pools. The service felt personal from the start. We got daily "mimos" in our room, and Luciana made us feel at home as a wonderful host. Chef Daniel Aquino's Mediterranean-inspired cooking uses produce from the organic garden. At Chez Victor, the "menu confiança" had us savoring every bite, and breakfast was full of fresh local flavors. We found the Pandora Spa and thermal baths deeply relaxing. The chromatic hot tub and massages brought together modern luxury and holistic traditions, and our massage was just perfect. Unique Garden Hotel & Spa is a lovely nature-filled escape near São Paulo, with luxury and heartfelt hospitality.
