The hotel and room were good and clean, and the staff were happy to help. When a tour guide named Amstrong scammed us and refused to take us back to the airport even though we'd paid for the ride, the hotel agreed to pay for a taxi. They said they didn't want anyone getting scammed. We're really grateful for that, and the people there were really nice.

I'd strongly advise people not to book a tour here. Most of the time we were left at the lodge, and each tour lasted 40-60 minutes at most. Transport between the office and lodge was improvised.

For a quick city stop, this little hotel worked well. It was clean, in a handy location, and the staff spoke English, which was a real plus.

Room service was good, and the hotel is close to Manaus's best-known tourist spot, The Opera House.
