Dona Aparecida, or Dona Cida as she’s affectionately called, is what made the stay feel like home. She looks after guests with almost motherly care and keeps the place spotless. Senhor Alves and Dona Regina also run the pousada with warmth, seriousness, and attention to detail. Senhor Alves is always looking for ways to improve it while holding on to the basics of good service: respect, organization, and genuine care. Breakfast is included and excellent, and the price is accessible too. It’s hard to find that mix of quality, comfort, and fair value. I recommend it without hesitation.
