I only went to MAO to drink and have fun, not as an overnight guest, so this is just about the areas I saw. It’s a cute, welcoming place decorated with paintings and art. There’s a smoking area and a bar serving catuaba, beer, and other drinks. There’s also a sort of dance floor. I didn’t enjoy it much because it’s very dark, enclosed, and small, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

The location is especially convenient, and the service was OK. MAOHostel has a great atmosphere, too. I like how the bar and hostel areas are combined.
