The rooms are on the small, old side, but the air conditioning worked. We had trouble with the shower, and the kind front desk staff moved us to another room so it wouldn't remain a problem. The location is great, the staff are helpful, and breakfast is included. For the price, it's a decent place. If I return to Manaus, I'll probably stay here again.

Poor management made for a disappointing stay. I arrived early, then waited hours while they tried to find me a room. Some staff seemed indifferent, though others did try to help. When I bought a soda for 7 reals with a 10 real note, they couldn't give me change. That's ridiculous. Maybe the very low price explains the service, but this hotel needs to get itself together. Be aware, and pay more to stay elsewhere unless saving money is your only option.

The place was falling apart and crawling with bugs, basically a roach motel. The only reason I gave it two stars was the front desk worker, who spent a long time trying to get the air conditioning to work.
