The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good, especially some kind of great kiwi milkshake. The location in Maragogi is nice, at the end of a busy tourist street. The elevator moves very slowly. Our first room smelled of sewage, but the second one was fine. The outlets have low voltage, so devices charge slowly. There’s an outdoor event venue nearby. During our stay, the music was extremely loud until 4 or 5 in the morning, so it may be worth checking whether events are scheduled.

This was the noisiest pousada or hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I could only sleep between 2 and 6 a.m. There was also no electricity for 11 hours overnight, so the air conditioning didn’t work. Power cuts happen often in this neighborhood, and the hotel has no backup generator.

It’s right by the sea, with direct access to the beach. The room was tidy, nicely decorated, and comfortable, and breakfast was good too. The pousada has a lovely family-run feel.

The room was spacious, with a good bed and a nice view. But there’s no parking or elevator, and the bathtub wasn’t clean.
