Pousada Brisa do Mar

We stayed three nights after another couple recommended the pousada, and absolutely loved it. Mario was a wonderful host who shared lots of tips for food and outings. The room was spacious, the location was very good, and breakfast was divine. I loved our time in Taipu and really want to return. I’d highly recommend Mario’s pousada. Just bring insect repellent, the mosquitoes were intense.

Sergio and Mario were so kind and attentive. They suggested trips in the region, local sights, and great restaurants. We had four unforgettable days, and were already missing the place at checkout. The pousada is in an excellent spot in Taipu de Fora, close to the beach and the pools. Rooms are spacious, with a balcony and hammock, and there’s a lovely garden with hammocks for relaxing and enjoying nature. You can even look at the stars, the night sky in Marau is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, with regional and Spanish dishes made in the pousada’s own kitchen. The mango juice from the yard was a highlight, along with homemade yogurt and granola, potato tortilla, banana pie, crepioca, and tapioca cake with coconut. Everything was fresh, served with care, and incredibly tasty.

We spent the Easter holidays at Pousada Brisa do Mar and were charmed by the sweetness of the place. Mário and Sérgio manage it with care, professionalism, and skill, creating a lovely energy that makes the pousada feel special. The delicious breakfast treats, Mário’s tips, and his written notes all add to the welcoming feel. We highly recommend it!

The whole stay was lovely, from the welcome to the rooms. Breakfast had yogurt, bread, and cakes, all made right there. The natural pools are less than a 10-minute walk away. We had a wonderful few days, and my daughter loved it too. We’ll definitely be back soon.
