The family made us feel so welcome and gave us great tips. We even milked cows and went horseback riding at sunset, which was really nice. We had a wonderful stay in the middle of the Pantanal and felt completely comfortable. We were very happy with the ranch and can definitely recommend it.

We paid over 800 euro for two nights in July 2024, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. I booked two rooms for five of us, but the host put everyone in one room. The accommodation was shabby, there was a cockroach in the room, and the electric shower smelled like something was burning as soon as I switched it on. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Spare yourself this awful experience.

The food was very good, all home-cooked with local products. Try the traditional Brazilian dishes, cakes and other sweets, and the Brazilian barbecue. The family was warm, welcoming, and helpful, and made sure we were having a good time. We spent five days at this lovely ranch. The rooms were clean and nice, and it was a great place to relax or do activities like safari and horseback riding. The ride was a beautiful experience. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and I absolutely recommend it. Thanks for the lovely stay!

Mirjam, who runs this country hostel in the Pantanal, gave us a warm, personal welcome. The trips to the rivers and swamp areas were good for spotting animals and exploring the exotic forest.

The people and the place are nice and helpful. The access road is tough, about 3 MILES of track, but manageable when it’s dry. A nice place to stay in the Pantanal.
