The hotel is helpful while it’s making money from you. If you need any help after booking, they just ignore you. I booked yesterday, 10/07/2025, for that same day, but our car broke down on the way. We had to call a tow truck and go back home. I contacted the hotel to ask if we could change the date or cancel so we could book another day. They didn’t answer my request to change the date, and Booking said a change wasn’t possible. After hours of trying to reach the hotel and sending several messages, they finally replied that I had to sort it out with Booking, not them. Booking said they had contacted the hotel and were waiting to hear back about a free cancellation. If the hotel refused, the payment wouldn’t be refunded. After that, neither Booking nor the hotel replied again, despite my many messages. We only wanted to move the booking because our car broke down on the way. Since they offered no help and ignored us, now I just want the money back. And this “non-refundable” rule doesn’t stand, in my view: under consumer law, customers have seven days to cancel and get a refund when they book through a website or app, as we did. Article 49 says consumers may withdraw from a contract within seven days of signing or receiving the product or service when the purchase is made away from the business premises, especially by phone or at home. The law is the law. No hotel or app rule overrides consumer law or consumer rights. We’re still waiting for a reply so this can be resolved as simply as possible.

We were welcomed warmly, and the staff were always attentive. The inn was clean, including the room and bedding, and the room itself was cozy. There’s cable TV and internet too. We’ll definitely come back.

The room was pretty and cozy, and the hot tub was excellent. I enjoyed the stay apart from a few things. The bed was uneven, with one side lower than the other. It’s near the center, but you need to drive there. There’s no one on site responsible for the inn, though they’re always keeping an eye on WhatsApp. I was bothered to find dog hair on the blanket. If pets are allowed, they should keep separate bedding, since neither my husband nor I like that. There’s no way to know whether the blanket had been washed.

Good value, especially now that the town has become so expensive. It’s not quite an inn, more like a plot with a few townhouses where they rent out rooms, but the place is well maintained. There’s no breakfast. The rooms are attractive and decorated, maybe a little too much: there are so many objects on the bedside table and in the bathroom that you worry about breaking one and being charged. They wanted R$80 for a porcelain item we found for R$20 on Mercado Livre. Staff aren’t there most of the time, just around check-in and checkout on Sunday. The young man we met was very polite. The gate is manual, and the road is unpaved. Even though it’s close to the center, you need a car.
