Terrace House

The setting is cozy and nice, and we enjoyed it, especially if your plan is to relax there together rather than spend much time in town. It's about 3 km away by car. Breakfast isn't served at this location; you have to go into town to a guesthouse owned by someone the owner knows. We had a small overbooking issue during our anniversary trip, but it got resolved. Make sure to confirm your reservation a few days ahead so you don't run into the same surprise.

The shower was spectacular, and the owner was always helpful, sharing tips for sights and restaurants. We had a really pleasant, quiet weekend. Breakfast is served off-site near the town center, but it's well worth the short trip: tasty food and lots of choice.

I never got to stay there. I booked a chalet a month ahead for tomorrow, 17/05, for our 20th wedding anniversary, then on 16/05 I got a message saying it had also been rented to someone else. Being told less than 24 hours beforehand was so frustrating. I did get my money back, but having all that planning fall apart is something I'll remember. If you book this inn, confirm that the chalet is really reserved just for you, so you don't get the same surprise.

There's so much peace and natural beauty here, and we had a wonderful stay. The chalet was perfect in almost every way, and everyone was very attentive. Breakfast was excellent too. My only suggestion is to add a full-length mirror to the amore mio chalet. We hope to return soon! ♥️
