Pousada do Oasis

I’m from cwb and often go to Morretes to relax, staying somewhere different each time to get to know the places. This time was much worse than I expected. Breakfast ran until 10, and I arrived at 9:10, but it should still have been hot without needing to ask. There were no fruit at all, and the food and dishes weren’t clean. The room was bad and dirty. I had arrived earlier, but not even an hour before. The air conditioning was poor. To make it work, the plug had to be fitted awkwardly into the outlet, without using a switch, and it made noise all night. I didn’t call anyone to check because it went on all night. The kitchen dishes had little bugs, which I think were termites. The reception was usually empty when I needed help. There was a bell, but it was difficult to have to ring it every time. The Wi-Fi password was stuck at reception in tiny writing that I couldn’t read clearly even with my glasses, and it wasn’t in the room. If everything else had been like the reception, that would have been enough, but the good part stopped there. If you can, choose somewhere else. I’m never coming back!

The staff were kind and welcoming, and I liked the thoughtful decor and how the breakfast items were laid out. Breakfast was simple but quite good. Our room was clean and tidy, with suitable sheets and towels. The air conditioning was already on when we arrived, so the room was nice and cool. I enjoyed the stay and would come back when I return to Morretes.

It was clean and peaceful, with a very well prepared breakfast. For the price and the accommodation, I definitely recommend it. Having a private bathroom and a garage was a nice benefit that some other places don’t offer.

The room was cozy and the location right in the center. For the price, the room itself was okay, but the bathroom was very cramped and the breakfast was disappointing. Portions were strictly limited, with only a small cup of coffee per person and no refills. If you’re hungry, you could easily leave still hungry. Service was so-so. We got little guidance, and reception was rarely staffed. They also don’t sell drinks, so we had to go out into the cold to buy water at a restaurant.
