We went as a couple with our baby and felt very welcome. The staff were wonderful, and while the hotel and room are basic, everything worked well and the accommodation covered what we needed. It’s in a handy spot near the craft fair, restaurants, food trucks, pharmacies and little grocery shops, so you can find just about everything nearby. Drinks for the rooms are really, really well priced. We had a very good stay and will definitely return.
The staff were great and breakfast was excellent, and the location is convenient. But the rooms are awful, with very old facilities and a noisy, dated air conditioner. The bathroom was the worst part. The fridge wasn't stocked, and the microwave was so gross I didn't want to use it. I stayed during Carnaval 2026, and the owner really needs to invest in a major renovation.
The breakfast area was a daily hassle. We were told to wait outside until people finished, so although we left our room at 7, we only got in around 7:50. Some guests even ate at reception because the space was so cramped and disorganized. The room had bugs, including cockroaches, dirty curtains, and other signs of poor cleaning and upkeep. The breakfast itself was limited, basically eggs, bread, and cake, with just 8 tables in a tiny room that was hard to move around in. The bathroom was extremely small, and the double bed was made from two single mattresses, leaving a gap in the middle. There was no dinner or food at the hotel, the room light was burned out, and the pool was much smaller than it looked in the photos. Access was also a serious problem. There's no elevator, and the stairs have no accessibility features, so wheelchair users can't get in. In my view there were far more negatives than positives, and the stay fell well short of what I expected. I hope they address these problems so other guests don't have the same experience. I can't recommend it.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well. The staff were lovely, friendly, and attentive, and breakfast was simple but nicely done. It’s good value for the price, with restaurants and a pharmacy nearby, though getting to the beach means a steep climb back up. I did miss having a table or chair on the balcony to help dry our beach clothes.
