Pousada Maria Bonita

We were welcomed warmly by the owner. The room was clean and tidy, with air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, a minibar, and a breezy balcony. The bathroom had a bidet spray and an electric shower. There isn't breakfast at the pousada, but nearby places sell breakfast and lunch at affordable prices. It's very well situated, and you can walk to Praia da Ponta Negra, where there are evening market stalls and restaurants. There are several little shops downstairs, and I was glad to see surveillance cameras for our safety. I highly recommend it, and I'll come back!

Not a welcoming place for people with pets. The owner wasn't receptive to me, and she said pets aren't welcome in the nearby spaces either. She claimed that area was for food, though I didn't see any tables, so it felt like she was just looking for something to complain about. The energy there didn't feel good.

The staff are very welcoming, and the location is handy for walking to the Ponta Negra waterfront. The price is fair, though breakfast isn't included. Sound insulation in the room was an issue for me, so a quiet neighbor would make a big difference.
