The house is quite nice and has a rooftop, but an issue with the woman managing the hostel really soured my stay. I had a late flight on checkout day and asked on WhatsApp if I could leave my luggage. She stays in her room and communicates with guests only that way. She said it would cost R$10. I’d never been charged to store luggage before, but agreed and asked where to leave my things. She told me to use my dorm room. I thought I’d made it clear I’d be waiting around there until evening. Later she messaged that she’d charge me the full night rate for using the kitchen and room. I was so annoyed that I hurried back, grabbed my stuff, and left. I’ve never known a hostel to stop people using the common areas while their bags are stored, but maybe I’d just been lucky before. This incident ruined my last afternoon in Natal, so I wouldn’t recommend the place. :(

The staff are really nice and helpful, and the place was clean overall. I did see a small cockroach on the first day, but my roommate said nothing like that had happened during the whole week she’d been there, so I assume it was a one-off. The location is really good and accessible. Remember to ask for your ten real key deposit back at the end of the day.

The rooftop, hammock, and bar make it easy to relax or spend time with people, and breakfast was nice. It’s close to the main beach, too. The staff were great company and made the hostel feel like a home away from home. Everything seemed really well run.

I arrived feeling a bit sick, and Luciana and facu helped me find a doctor. They’re two of the loveliest hostel managers I’ve met. The shared spaces make it easy to meet other guests, while the general vibe stays laid back. Catching sunset from the rooftop is a must 😄

The owners are wonderful, and breakfast is really good. Volunteers are always sharing tips about events and short trips around Natal. The hostel is also near Ponta Negra Beach, restaurants, and bus stops.
