Everything is simple here, with nothing fancy, but I’d recommend Pousada Tucano. It’s a cozy, family-oriented place with good cleanliness and breakfast. Pepe, the owner, is really nice and spends time with guests, sharing tips for good outings and doing his best to make people happy. The inn is in Vila dos Pescadores (Vila da Ponta Negra), near Ponta Negra beach and Morro do Careca. There are plenty of businesses nearby, and it’s a central spot with buses, taxis, and car rentals. Pepe also suggests restaurants with good, inexpensive food.
