Pousada Recanto Harmonia

We loved our stay. The inn had just opened, so everything in the room still smelled brand new. We were there with family for about three days and had a wonderful time. Next time we'll book an upstairs room, there's a balcony with a lovely view. Just a note, the rooms don't have windows, only the bathrooms do, and ventilation is through the air conditioning.

The place felt completely neglected. On Saturday, the woman who looks after the inn doesn't work because she's a Seventh-day Adventist, so we had to make breakfast ourselves. The breakfast area was dusty and filthy, there wasn't a clean chair to sit on, and the coffee maker's filter was covered in mold. All the guests were upset by the lack of care. Breakfast isn't served until 8 on Sunday, which was too late for us, so we left without eating. I'm giving one star, and would give none if I could.

The owner was great to deal with, and breakfast was very good. The rooms were clean and organized, with fresh, clean sheets and towels, a TV and air conditioning. There's also a shared kitchen with a stove, fridge, blender, sandwich maker and other things to use, even though the rooms have minibars.

The room was spacious and nice, with a smart TV for YouTube and Netflix, though the bed makes noise. Everything is new, and it's in a great location. Breakfast is simple. There's no reception and they could use more staff, it feels more like a rental house or apartment. One person does everything and lives nearby if you need something.
