You can help yourself to mangle for the garden, too. The place is beautiful, with lovely energy, and the people working there made me feel so welcome. Probably the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Brazil.

Maracaípe is a paradise! The hostel is very close to the beach, and everything was fantastic, from the staff to the owners.

The hostel is cozy and right in the heart of Olinda’s historic district. A very lovely woman welcomed me and treated me as well as she possibly could. I stayed in a four-person room with two bunk beds, but for the nightly price, I thought the room’s facilities were pretty lacking. There wasn’t even an outlet by my bed, and the sliding door kept sticking when I opened or closed it. The bathroom was fine, and I have no complaints about the rest of the hostel.
